A drive through Fichtelberg does not give you an idea of ​​what a little gem we have. Our dentist posted a few photos on social media and pointed out the new owners a few times. So we followed the recommendation. As before, the location is a dream. The interior design, in particular, is a special feeling in the evening. If you don't know it yet, you should definitely take a look. It becomes cozy between old machines in a stylish ambience. Lanterns / stars hang on the ceiling and let every guest be amazed again. But not only the eyes get their money's worth. The palate also feels good here - also for me as a vegetarian. There are few vegetarian dishes, especially in rural areas. But here, meat-free dishes are already on the menu. After a short question, we were even granted our wish to reorder a burger, which actually has a meat patty, to a vegetarian version. We were really happy and as a cherry on the cream the boss came and asked which sauce should be on the burger (because meat and veggie burgers don't have the same sauce). Bomb! My husband and I weren't even asked that in a star restaurant. There is a clear recommendation for this service, a big thank you and many other orders. The cheese spaetzle (without bacon) are a dream. At first my eyes told me "what a mini portion". But the motto at the end: Press! ;) What is also awesome: see-through cola. What kind of eyes did I make when my Cola Wheat did not stand out from the other beer glasses. In the beer garden in summer there was a laugh at every table next to the house (cola and cola wheat). In summer you have to plan a significant waiting time if you want something to eat. But for this they cook freshly and I find the portions in the price / performance ratio completely okay. We were therefore sometimes guests before the lockdown and now order to be picked up while the restaurant is closed. The portions have not become smaller, as unfortunately with other gastro colleagues. Word gets around.

Have been there twice now in summer and now in autumn. The first time everything was fine, everything went well and invited to come back. On the second visit it was a bit different, we went there spontaneously and at the reception we were approached rather grumpily because we hadn't made a reservation. Well, we didn't know that a reservation was compulsory and that it might cause stress; would have gone again, even in Corona times, would have understood that you have to go sometimes. Well, the situation relaxed and we still got a place. One star is deducted because a little more friendliness at the reception and it would have been 4 stars. The food was great for the second time. -Roulades are homemade I think so that you can choose whether you want one or 2 Spaetzle are also excellent homemade -Burger here too the pattys (meat) was very flavorful -Sides salad nicely arranged and the dressing also very tasty - Onion roast beef here too, the sauce is a specialty you get not even made this one from a pack.

Very nice ambience and delicious food. Unfortunately, however, unfriendly service (Didn't want to wipe our chairs and table after a downpour because, according to him, he had to do it too often that day) and decent prices.

Heard only good things, that's why we went. Due to a power failure (cash register system) the whole staff was very stressed / annoyed). Which can always happen (is not the issue). But after 30 minutes the waitress came to order drinks, even though she ran past us several times. Then after another 25 minutes our ordered drinks. 2 Aperol Spritz (which apparently came out of the socket or cash register) ....? When asked how long the meal would take, it was said another 30 minutes ... Luckily we ordered the meal with the drinks ...! But the waitress said we could go in for dinner because it was fresh outside. We moved inside, where the boss apparently rudely pointed out that we hadn't made a reservation .... ????? 🤔 (even after running past 3 times we had to make ourselves noticeable again) well because guests are sometimes invisible ...! After almost 1.5 hours not only we left but also a couple behind us .. without eating ..! Conclusion: .... Even if the atmosphere is beautiful ..... and we were looking forward to the "probably" delicious food, you can destroy a lot with your unfriendliness ... We are definitely not coming anymore ....! Good Appetite...!!!

We were at the museo yesterday. For the first time we were flashed from the hammer location ... while walking there, the great building and the beautiful beer garden ... The waiter, called paul, is a nimble and attentive person. Who also lets go of a brisk saying .. the landlords are absolutely great .. always friendly, attentive. The food alone is an eye-catcher. And the taste is a dream. We sat outside and really enjoyed it .. If we hadn't had to go any further, we would probably have crouched in the evening. It's incredibly cozy, and I think the location is breathtaking for celebrations, weddings .. There is also a children's playground we felt very comfortable and in good hands ... we will definitely be back!

Super tasty Swabian food and also great tasty burgers. Very nice and cozy ambience surrounded by a former sawmill with an old sawing plant. Totally beautiful and everything has been wonderfully restored. The food is very tasty and there are great Franconian beers. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Friendly and competent wait staff, super cozy beer garden and the food are simply a dream. Anyone who is only remotely close MUST go to the Museo in Fichtelberg. We love to come here again and again.

Super uncomplicated, short-term reservation of a table by phone. Although the outside area was full (safety distance implemented perfectly) we were always looked after. Museum plate absolute recommendation!

was here for dinner with my mother and sister. The decor is fantastic, the menu is not too big and you can of course have the dish adapted to your own wishes. Service was friendly / familiar and since we were sitting inside we were always in sight. At first glance the prices seem a bit high but the food is worth it! All three of us were very satisfied and will probably come again from time to time 👍 P.s. the clear cola tastes normal, you don't need to be put off :)

This place is a true gem tucked away in a street in Fichtelberg. It was recommended to us by a friend and we are so happy we went there. The interior is eclectic and different. It was a granite manufacturing company in the past and you still get the industrial feel of it. They decorated it beautifully and some of the decoration can even be bought. The food is delicious. Most of the people around us got burgers. Since we visited on a Tuesday and apparently that is burger day :) we were not in the mood, so we chose chicken curry and fish with spaghetti on chutney. Both tasted delicious, but our true highlight was the dessert - the melted chocolate cake!!!! Do yourself a favor and order it - it is the best dessert we have ever had and we travel and eat our way around quite a bit :) We will come back in the summer months to sit in the stunningly beautiful beer garden (see photos).

A very nice place inside and outside. The food was good and the price-performance ratio, dips, etc. everything homemade. The wines are also of high quality. When visiting, plan about 1 hour waiting time for food

Incredible t bone streak....worth every penny. It's more than an hour away from home but I would like to come back. Getting hungry again thinking about that steak😃

The restaurant is signposted somewhat difficult. I got lost three times: D The ambience is very calm and nice. The toilets are also pretty. The prices are high. A bit too high for my taste and considering the region. Otherwise everything was great. The food was delicious.
